Waikato resident, Faamanu (Faa) has a Master of Music degree from the University of Waikato’s

TANZOS programme. He will also attend London’s Royal College of Music to study for a second

Master’s degree, in Performance in Vocal Studies for which he has been granted a rare full

scholarship. From a family of talented siblings, Faamanu is one of the three Fonoti Fuimaono

brothers in the 2026 Kiri te Kanawa Song Quest semi-finals.
